bansheeboy44
If I buy SLS Triple Buff paddles, which are better for my 4mill drag port cub? Will be used 50% of the time at the sand drags at Glamis and Gordon's and 50% at the hills. Let me know what you guys prefer and why- Thanks! beez33
Extremes. Thicker paddle and better tire imo.
RiDeTRIKES250R
i run extremes on my daily duner (485 Cheetah) I ran 12 paddle rippers on my 611, i would lose a bike lenght out of the hole, but gain 2 up top.
possum
Extremes are just a thicker blade. But haulers are great tires as well. Never had a problem with either one.
bansheeboy44
Extremes are just a thicker blade. But haulers are great tires as well. Never had a problem with either one. Because of the thicker blade do the extremes hinder the tire growing at top RPM's though? I've had a couple of shops tell me they do (meaning haulers have more top end), but not sure if they just wanted to see the cash register open and have my cash go in it OR if there is some truth to this. I'm sure it's all relative though depending on sand conditions, distance of race, etc. But again, I flat drag at Gordon's and Glamis and also at the hills at both locations. possum
No. same roll out in either one will grow the same. Extremes are a thicker blade so they dont bend back under hard acceleration as easy as normal haulers. And they wont rip or tear as easy either. So its just the paddle itself that is different. But haulers are good up to maybe 120 hp then i definetely think about extremes. Imo..but extremes wont hurt with less power either. Although haulers will be lighter so its all lil tradeoffs. Rotax Raptor
It's all about horse power. Haulers, extremes and rippers. If you run under 100 hp, stay with extremes. Tires will rob HP if you can't turn them. That's a fact! 4 mil 10 paddle, 421, 12 paddle, maybe? 10 mil, maybe rippers if you spent big bucks on a motor.. After that, good luck. Try them and see what works best.
