fastforworddad Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Need to know what these plugs are opinions on why the may be unplugged. The ones just to the left of the petcock. Looking at buying this 2000 model and it started first kick but the headlight "tic tac toe" guard is melted as well as the headlight lens. Don't want any electrical gremlins. troyzstang Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 The plugs are from the T.O.R.S. system. they attach to a safety feature above the carbs. That feature is almost always removed / disconnected because they fail. can I ask what the bike is selling for? It looks like it was two separate plugs (4 Halves) that are unplugged. Is that a simple way to defeat the tors. Also it stalled twice when breaking quickly, any ideas. He wants 2700 for it. Get pics of it if you can. I will try to make them smaller so I can post them. I was gonna offer him 2450.00, with a set of front and rear sand tires. I actually used to live in LA and had my best friend drive out and check it out for me, but he has never had an atv so he just took a bunch of pictures and emailed them to me as well as a video. I will try to post the link. Even if you got a mint all stock Banshee for FREE, it's still cheaper to buy one already built. For example, the one I just recently bought. Ported, matched cases, welded crank, bored to 64.50, wiseco pistons, cylinders polished, Vforce reeds, billet intakes, 33mm PWKs, K&N pods, polished clutch cover, billet stator cover, foot pegs, shifter, clutch insert, water pump cover, reservoir covers, handlebar clamp, Toomey T5 pipes, Lonestar +4 chrome roundhouse swinger, Lonestar axle, Douglas blue label wheels, scat trac haulers and mohawks, chromed stock A arms, kick starter, and rear brake pedal. $2,500 with a title. Jereme6655 Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Prime example is me....I went to my cites police auction looking for a snowmobile.....came home with a 2001 shee with FMF fatties, vforce 2 reeds, aftermarket bars, 2-1 air filter, new wheels, new tires, and a new front bumper.....and still on the stock bore.........for $1675. The point is that there are WAY better prices that you will be able to find.....and trust me.....youll wind up building the bike up.....so why not buy one with some things already on it so you don't have to pay more???
