amont21987
I'm thinking about buying the vforce3 reeds but I'm curious what the differ ce is between them and boysen power reeds besides the price
SandSlingerOR
I dont think their is a difference. I have the carbon pedals from boysen, Maybe better throttle response but thats about it. I dont ever see myself buying the vforce reeds, because I'd rather not spend $200 on somthing that wont help out.
Finch
ya i just went with boyesen i couldnt justify paying 200 bucks on them.
ticktock
The difference is there are no screws to strip, fall out. It is a 1piece reed and there is less restricted airflow. It is going to be a crisper throttle response overall because of the design. What does that mean? A properly tuned banshee carb at optimum conditions is going to respond 30 milliseconds faster than the same setup with B power reeds. Coupelx
On a max effort bike they are probably worth it but not your average Banshee. Not to mention a fiberglass reed will out last a carbon reed easily. Cf does not like to flex. I run a ported stock reed cage and boyesen 2 stage reeds. 06specialedition
If you don't want to spend 200 on V Force 3's, Wildcard Racing does a killer job porting your stock reed cages. I would suggest that.
