so i bought some badass walmart halogen headlights for 20 bucks. look just like the trailtechs! anyways, i cant figure out how to power them. it has a power and a ground (of course) i connect the ground, and the red wire to the black/white wire on the banshee. i get power when i flip the switch on the headlights, but it kills the bike. should i just wire it to the black/red wire and the green and yellow ones? i dont have the headlight plugs because of the person before me... lol. any ideas? these things will look sick if i can get em to wire up!

Why are you hooking into the black/red wire(technically it is listed as red/black in the Yamaha wiring diagram)? That is the wire for the key switch and needs to be connected to ground to make the bike run. To hook up your lights you neeed to connect the ALL BLACK wire on the bike to the ground wire on the lights and then you hook either the green wire or the yellow wire on bike to the power wire on the lights. You can hook up either wire which gives you just 1 ON position on the switch or you can hook both green and yellow wire to the lights and then they will be on in either the low beam or high beam position even though you won't actually be switching between high and low beam because those lights do not have a high and low beam in them. This will get you the wiring diagram here on BHQ- http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133650. And as was said, the stock stator will only handle 2 35 watt bulbs.
