sheerider11
I just wish I knew where the rest of the reeds went.
#1JUANstunna
Probably inside the bottom end and hopefully out the exhaust. Check for piece in the exhaust. I'd recommend blowing out the bottom end and see if anything flies out
sheerider11
That's what I'm gonna do. The real kick in the ass is I just got this motor in the bike and running! Just my luck. Well I gotta find replacement reeds, Yamahaman thanks allot for the help. Definitely got me pointed in the eight direction and then called it out, so damn good diag skills if you ask me
WINDYCITYJOHN400
Might not hurt to do a leakdown test while your at it......you would hate to burn it down if you also lost a crank seal with that backfire. Just a thought.
sheerider11
True, this rebuild has just been trial and error as of now. This thing was pulling hard to, just didn't ride it long enough to burn up the harness. Which reminds me, how does everyone run there harness?
