IGottaPee
Ok, i've been riding my blaster for 3 or four years so i know most essential components and mods for 2 strokes (reeds, pipes, porting, etc.). Anyhow, i am purchasing at a banshee with aftermarket pipes (either fmf or toomey) for $2500 and i'm looking into some more mods already, any suggestions? kodie
it depends on what type of riding you are doing and what mods are already done and how much money you have to spend.
Motooutcastxxx
I would buy the Shee and ride it around a bit first before you go buying at least any motor mods for it, you might like it the way it is for now considering you're moving up from a Blaster, that's a pretty big step up. You'll also get a better idea on which areas you want to improve to help decide on mods. That's what I would do anyway, and I've owned a few Blasters in my day and the Shee is a whole different experience. Just sayin....
RadarRacing
If you get a piped banshee with pipes you will already have a 50 hp bike. You will more than likely be wanting upgrades like handlebars, tires, parking brake blockoff, levers, or cosmetic upgrades first. I usually do. Go thru it and adjust or lube everything and make sure it is top notch first.
FASTOYS
Like Radar said those will help make the bike easier to ride. IF/When you want more power the first things to consider are Timing plate, milled head or Cool head, and then maybe reeds , porting would come next... IGottaPee
What gas mixture should i run with this setup? Do i need a case saver? What do i do to maintain the cooling system? Is the jetting scale the same for banshees as for the blaster?

Is the jetting scale the same for banshees as for the blaster? 32:1 use klotz super techniplate oil, ive never used a case saver but they wont hurt anything, distilled water and or 50/50 anti freeze, depends on mods and carb setup. pm me since ur local with some of the finer details.
