2004LEBanshee
stock? i know on works just put the valve down and push dont on the spring and pull the retainer out. a friend might come in handy then. Fromts I dont think can be rebuilt. Rears you need a spring compressor and I think the bottom uncrews. I hope someone chimes in with a better answer. Id like to know as well. So Cal Suspension
I've never wasted much time on the front shocks, but I think once the spring is compressed in a spring compressor, the lower red end unthreads. Not sure though. The rear shock you can get the spring off without a compressor but unthreading both preload nuts all the way, and it should loosen the spring enough to slide out the lower spring retainer. It's shaped like a "c" and just slides out. Good luck getting the preload back where it was, though. I'd use a spring compressor.

Coupelx
the fronts have a c shaped retainer like the rear shock does but its on top instead. these are blaster shocks but you get the idea
VR350
Actually on the front Banshee shocks the top mount unscrews from the shaft. You compress the spring and there is a place top hold the shaft from turning and you just rotate the top eye.
