willardwright59
So far with the banshee in my signature i have beaten: all new 450r quads ive raced, a crf250 from 2011, a few rm125's a yz 105, any raptor, 2 quadzillas, 2 blasters, 2 bansgees, havent racd a 450 bike yet. I havent lost a race yet. But the bikes i raced werent that modded. And the zilla was a sucky ass rider. Ive been riding since i was 4 on an alpha sport and worked my way up to my dads friends 1999 banshee. Im pretty good. But far far far from best!!! Concrete
For what its worth, before I got my 421 cub I had a stock stroke with all the bolt ons, and I raced a 250 on the street. I got it off the line every time and keep pulling away.
2K1Banshee350
i dont see a 250 4 stroke being a big problem for a trail ported banshee. a 250 2 stroke or a 450 on the other hand might beat you. i thought trail ported banshees were in the 55-65hp range? if so then you should beat the 250 4 stroke and be close with a 250 2 stroke and maybe the 450. its about power to weight ratio. 250 4 strokes have about mid to 30s hp, 250 2 strokes 45-50 hp and 450s 50-55 hp. they all weigh about 220-230lbs. the banshee is about 400... so do the math. there are power to weight ratio calculators out there. also if the banshee is geared up it should beat everything but most 450s on top speed. have you seen dirtbikes shootouts with 450s? the newer 450s go high 80's low 90s STOCK
