BigRed350x
His buddy he sent the engine too was probably in on the scam. 1. You pay him for engine 2. He ships to his friend 3. Cashes out his account, and has tracking number to give to you 4. friend ships motor back to him You got lucky and caught it before he was able to withdraw the funds. He's a scammer for sure. How do you "accidentally" ship a $2400 engine to the wrong address? What a fuck-wad. If I'm shipping something like that I tripple check the shipping address, and usually actually call and talk to the person. - Jared

Thats why I said Bring it! I figured he would jump on with the excuses. Fact is he's reading all this and knows you got caught homeboy!! Either it was a scam or you just dumber than a bag of hammers!! I asked what adress it shipped to cuz he never even confirmed where I wanted it to go. Sure the adress is in paypal but with that much money wouldn't you be sure u sent it where the buyer says ship it? Shady

I just don't understand how people can be sooooo dishonest. It's quite infuriating. Glad you got you dough back. Well technically I didn't yet.. The case is under review but I'm pretty sure I'll get it all back. If he would go on paypal and just one click (I'm a douchbag box) I could get the money instantly. Not sure if I said this or not yet but to really prove the scam. Dude said he had forgotten to send the drag pipes out on Monday morning and first thing Tuesday they would be on the way. Well I didn't file the dispute till Thursday .. So where are the pipes? Obviously that was more BS from badazz99ss! Point is unless the party can be trusted...NEVER GIFT!! If they insist just add the 3% on top when making payment! It's well worth it! We should start a thread on "HQ SAFE members" to gift funds too. Might save someone else hard earned $$$. Fuck that motor !! Put it on yo bike with those gold series Fatty's you put on it! He tried to put the brake pedal on the shift shaft and wondered what held it on! U in way over your head Lamont! (if that's your name). I'll run clean over you with my Lil stock jug stroker! I'll put 500 on that race! One pass one winner! Come get it
ClayAiken
I would definitely dispute the charge. Sometimes most scammers come off as straight up guys. Not gifiting the payment saved your ass. Edited January 23, 2012 by Hyper
DwnSouth
Got money back today, asked the paypal rep if paypal was giving me the money or the seller..? Her name was Kim and she said in this case the funds were frozen in his account when the dispute was filed. I wanted to know if that jackass was gettn$. She said if he would have pulled the funds out of his paypalbefore I filed the claim. It would have created a negative balance in his account. I said so what then don't use paypal no more.... She said it's like not paying a bill. Harassing phone calls, credit agencies, debt collectors. They usually always get there money! Don't mess with paypal!
