edgehanger
Trying to figure why the upper case has jb weld in this spot and only on one side. Was told it was a 10 mil but can't see where the cases were trenched. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x336/edgehanger/100_0135.jpg Edited January 11, 2012 by edgehanger

locogato11283
Cases look trenched to me. See the front and back where the rod goes..
Coupelx
The only thing i can think of is someone got carried away when they were matching the cases to the cylinder and it got too thin right there. on the outsides its possible to break through into either the stator or clutch cavity. n2otoofast4u
Judging by the quality of that custom cut base gasket, Id pull it all the way apart and see what other custom shit they have done..

edgehanger
What topend are you running? Its a t-rex. 10 mil. Yea base gasket job is piss poor. You should see the spacer plate. It has 2 base gaskets and a spacer plate. Case has not been port matched. I plan to take it apart and re do it. 72 mm bore. rod has 30L on it. Guy sold this motor to a friend of mine cause he thought it was junk. Ran like a ported stock motor. I plan to bring it back to life. Yea they do looked trenched right there. I thought that was excessive silicone at first. Is that jb weld safe? Afraid it might come loose.

BigRed350x
lol what is it man? Ever seen anything like that? I've seen the oil channel filled in, but yours is totally ghetto. I would remove the epoxy that's in there and clean everything up and build it right. The big spacer plate / gaskets you have is probably to accomodate the large rods. - Jared
