If they went down inside, then your also talking about splitting the cases! SORRY! $500 is a frickin steal though, even if you gotta tear into the bottom end! Bkm2006 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 what kind of riding you going to be doing? are you looking to do a complete restore? if you do alot of trails id say slap some tires all new bearings . If your doing a new topend already and you just bought this id split the case and see what else needs to be done. Dont want to put money in a new topend and have something else go out .... If your going total rebuild id say strip it down to the frame and skye is the limit. I did a total rebuild on my bike and couldnt be happier, you will learn alot from this site. congrats on the new bike also 500 bucks is a steal. Im buying a new front end; bearings, a arms, and that good stuff. Probably going to open the case tomorrow after work. Is there anything thats going to make this process easy in me.
