BigRed350x
Check out the link in my signature, i have a bottom end assembly walkthrough with lots of pics. the bottom end on these is stupid simple. I would split the cases and clean the crank bearings properly, or just replace them. Maxload bearings are only 50 ea. Cheap insurance for peace of mind with your crank, especially on a new build. monstermike
Well pulled motor but not gonna split cases..... We'll see. Ill post if I ruin anything .... Its all a learning expierience. I figure if sand actually got in bearing I'm not gonna get it out by splitting cases unless I replace em I think me flushing it will give me same results as me splitting case. I don't wanna fork out cash to dip it. Idk. Ill risk it I guess and worst case. Is thrashed bearing and get a forged crank

Is thrashed bearing and get a forged crank When you flush it use a clear or light color fluid and drain it into a pan so you can see what you are getting out of the lower end. FYI, i flushed a melted piston out of the bottom end of a YZ100 and it run for years after that. Also, on a long weekend at the dunes we had to do a Banshee topend and we just flushed the cases and it was fine.
