Zwiser
Well, I've noticed some play in my steering, and was wondering how do I check to see if it's the tie rod ends that are worn out? Also has anybody ever used the Tusk Honda style tie rods and ends?
Starwriter
Have someone wiggle the bars while you put your hand on each tie rod end. If they're loose, you will feel the slop between the spindle/tie rod or steering stem/tie rod. Also feel the lower steering stem bearing the same way. thomas h.
Lift up your front end and wiggle your a arms and ball joints and tie rods. I found the upper arm bolt was making a ovel shaped hole on the frame tab and upper joints worn out .
