007banshee
Took my clutch off to put in a new KG kit. I have heard some.people talk about grooving. Mine has little humps they are not huge but you can feel them what kind of issues can this cause if any. It is the original clutch off an 02 so it was ready for a refresh. Will i be ok running this basket?
Larry's Shee
The groves can cause erratic clutch action. Maybe post a pic if you can. You can take a smooth flat file and clean it up if its not real bad. If you didn't have any issues with how the clutch felt, put it back together and ride. Coupelx
it doesnt sound too bad yet. check the cushions by holding the gear and trying to turn the basket back and forth. they usually go out and the slack contributes to the grooving. Larry's Shee
If they all don't have grooves don't think it's anything to worry about. I've filed 1/32 grooves no problem.
