vifferman
Loctite EVERYTHING! Not with the perm stuff (red?) but with the temp (blue?). How often are you going to be removing your axle? Next to never. If you are having a hard time removing the axle nut try a little heat from a torch, and/or soaking it with WD-40 or similiar. Just don't use them at the same time.
dillbilly
do not use the red x2. I personally dont loctite axle do to replacing axle bearings. Those nuts are a sob sometimes.
ticktock
Loctite is amazing. It is a Harley owners best friend as every bolt will vibrate loose without it! I personally do Blue on everything outside the motor and inside the motor I use red. Loctite will also help seal all the threads so the bolts will not rust in blind holes. dunebuggy09
personally i loctite mostly every bolt with the blue stuff....i rarely use red because it requires heat to get it off
