Intakes that mate perfectly to V-Force 2 cages?

The newest intakes I've bought are from Chariot and Trinity.

They both have a larger internal throat that doesn't match up to V-Force 2 cages.

The ledge crated where they bolt together has got to disrupt airflow.

Does anyone know of an intake thats being made these days that match up correctly?

Thanks

I ran pro design individuals with my IIs on my old bike. I just acquired some Trinity stage IVs and they mate up rather nicely to my IIs.

There's a cat on fleabay that sells billet intakes and he claims they are made for IIs.

Thanks for the reply. I've been trying like crazy to come up with a good set.

Are the Pro Designs sold today the same style as the ones your old bike had?

I've got an unknown set that are excellent and a set of Vitos that match up also. Both have good heavy duty boots.

The set you spoke of on ebay do match. I have a pair of those on my wifes bike but they have thin Mikuni boots and aren't very stout.

The Trinity and Chariots that I got are cut much larger than my V-2 cages so there is a big ledge that disrupts airflow.

If u can't find the intakes u want i have the chariot billet reed cages that match the billet intakes..The reed cages flow pretty good..

Thanks Scott but I have both the Chariot intakes and matching cages. Going to do a same day swap at the track (1/4mile) next season to compare ET's

neah its not bad for you to do that thomas. just remember that whenever you do a mod that helps the bike breathe or fart better....you need to check your jetting. some will say reeds don't change the jetting.....some still check it. i'd check it just to make sure before something happens and you need a rebuild for a minor over look.

If i were you tedder i'd also think about grinding into them to make the flow a little nicer.
