94supercam
Any one try putting a banshee motor in a newer yfz?? With the aluminum frame? I just might do this.
Coupelx
they are a bit out of most peoples budget. in a few years when they are more available as rollers, sure.
camatv
i would like to use a KFX frame also. the newer yfz would be sweet also but its to new for my budget.
bbcmudtruck
The KFX is shit compared to the YFZR. They are narrow and feel very tipsy. I was going to buy a kfx 450 for a trail bike because they got reverse. But after riding my buddies 08 kfx, I have no desire to own one. Even with stage 4 elkas I didn't like it at all. thomas h.
Aluminum is cool but the weight savings isn't wort the avg cost of a roller. If you really needed aluminum I'd save for a yfz450r roller.
94supercam
Well I have the 450x now. Hardly ride it and wanna spice it up a bit. Ha, I had a banshee before an loved the power bud hated the handling. Figured this would be best of both worlds. If I do it its not gonna be some hack job, hopefully look factory. 94supercam
Keep in mind the x has mayb 3 tanks of gas ran threw it, so its like brand new. I tried to sell it with no luck, so might as well tear it up!!
Trick2stroke
Sell the motor and all. Should help a lot with the hybrid expenses.
bbcmudtruck
You had better be dam good at fabrication or have the funds to pay someone to help you. Otherwise your going to fuck up a really nice and expensive bike! Good luck either way, and post pics!
