Zwiser
do you have a temp gauge to confirm that it really is running hot? or do you just think it is?
BansheeWA
No I'm I'n the process of getting a temo guage, ever since i have put those mods on the 1st run i did the black paint on the top end of the motor started to discolor that's why i am thinking it's running hot because that never happend before? Zwiser
did you do a leak down test? plug chop? if your still running a stock impelor i would strongly suggest getting a billet one from chariot, and silicone lines help alot too. Zwiser
you have to also remember that if you get a bigger rad that the water flow will decrease but the coolant wont get as hot as quickly. so if your stock rad is not all bent to hell and its working right, its not a problem
Judge1
I can tell you what not to do....Engine Ice. It is over priced bullshit and doesn't lower the temps it claims to! Ahh the power of marketing. Edited December 1, 2011 by Judge1

camatv
coup hit on the head. ride faster. i have. stock rad, stock impeller, 50/50 mix of cheappo coolant, gas and i ride the bike fast NEVER overheated.. DONT run straight water. DONT use tap water. mix 50/50 coolant at least with distilled water. if you want to impress your friends buy food coloring and change the color of the coolant ( i've heard blue is neato)
