zach45
I wanna do Handel bar mounted after market lights. But here nothing but bad things about the quality of the trail tecks. What other options are there. And right now I'm not willing to do a dc conversion Zach

But, they are much much brighter than stock!! Joe

Coupelx
i have my trail tech on my shee, not an issue with the chrome yet, been on the shee for a while. but doubtful you can run handlebar lights without going to a high watt stator. the stock stator can handle just the stock lights. good point, the stock stator isnt exactly a powerhouse. zach45
I'm talking just handle bar lights only
Glenyboy
My boss is running some led spotlights off of eBay, they're from china and cost about 45-50 dollars per light ( i'll double check this) but they are top stuff. Theyre very bright and prob only a little bit bigger than the tt's. And they're anodised black for the murdered out boys. Glenyboy
They're fitted on his Ktm 450 exc, so I'm not too sure as it's brand new stock. I thought you had to run dc for LEDs though

zach45
I did not mean for this topic to be only about TT I wanted to hear all options for a direct replacement

And what model/brand are they? Thanks
wacko2000
good point, the stock stator isnt exactly a powerhouse. He never stated that he would be running them in the stock location and handlebar mounts!! I know the stock stator cant handle much more than that..He's looking for a set of handlebar mounts and maybe something other than TT's if available without having to do a DC conversion... There must be other options out there, so post em up!! Joe
