BLOODRAGE
because the shipping would kill me.it would be better if i get somthing that includes everything i need insted of buying it from different states then the waiting time on top of that
donkeypuncher
Big bore kits are a waste of money. Hit up Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing. He's got a deal goin right now on 4 mill cranks for $365 trued and welded. Add another $300 or so for porting and you've got one hell of a runner! BLOODRAGE
lol i just got done doing a compression test and the results made me giggle. right cylinder is @100 psi and the left didnt make it past 40psi.about to take the top off to see if theres any damage
donkeypuncher
for what its worth a ported stock stroke will out run alot of stuff... Maybe in drag form. But a stock stroke dune ported bike will not outrun a dune ported 4 mill so long as both bikes are set up the same.
BLOODRAGE
what about a ported bbk?lol just had to ask
donkeypuncher
what about a ported bbk?lol just had to ask Big bore kits add nothing to performance. You'll basically be paying $800 to tell your buddies you have a 400cc (or whatever size you're lookin at) banshee. A ported bbk will run the same as a ported stock cylinder bike. 4mill + port work is what you're lookin for.

donkeypuncher
Just so you know, once you've ported your cylinders for stock stroke they will no longer work with a 4mill crank. Also, I hope you know what your doing, because there's more to porting cylinders then just hogging them out with a dremel. Good luck.
