BRAK54
do you think the carb that came on my shee is to small? or maybe even to big its a single pwk 39mm keihin i think the stock duals are 28mm anyways im wondering if i should swap it out for a different single carb, i was told the shee had HP pistons and it also has full fmf golds im just trying to get this thing running perfect although it does fire up on the first few kicks just kinda feels boggy in low rpms im trying to pin point the problems

Although I have been thinking of going to dual carbs, Mine runs like a raped date with whats in my sig. I cant give you any comparrison information because I've only ever ran 2-1. Ive often wondered about the amount of air coming thru duals compared to a single but Mine runs real strong.
donkeypuncher
Sounds like a jetting issue. If it feels like it's cutting out or hesitating you're lean, if it just feels sluggish and it's taking a second to start revving then your rich. Depending on which symptoms you're having you'll need either a bigger or smaller pilot jet. Not sure if a single 39 is too much or not. Depends on what you've got done to your bike. I have noticed that the popular size for a 2-1 carb setup seems to be a 35mm carb.

At first with my 2-1 mine was a little boggy as well. I bumped my pilot up a couple sizes.

It shouldn't need rebuilt unless something's broken and/or leaking. Yes, there is. If you remove the bottom of the carb (bowl) you will see the main jet (bigger of the two) and the pilot jet (in the bottom of what looks like a tube next to the main). On the side of both jets will be a number.

Coupelx
I would run at least a 45mm carb with acclerator pump on that thing.
