brayden55
i jsut picked up a 2000 banshee for $1000 and iv put 2 new pistons and a over boar to 66mm the thing rips at the high revs like a banshee should however it does not have the get up and go i was expecting. it seems very slugish at the low rpms and it is fouling plugs about every day or 2 if in lucky. i know that jetting is a issue here as i did not rejet it yet but once i rejet it will it have the snap right from idle? iv run into this issue with my kx250 but it was only fouling plugs
06specialedition
If your fouling plugs that much you are probably jetted too rich. What are your jetting and elevation specs?
tecate3matt
What color are your plugs when you pull them? Should be looking for that somewhat nice brown/tan look. If they are black or kinda loaded with fuel when you pull them you are probably over jetted and have you tried maybe running lean oil/fuel mixture?
