SuperMex
R-2s will be a much better all around pipe than the Shearers
coryv4
Ok fuck you, my first post said i like the pts, he rides woods and your saying drag pipes are the better. cpis and shearers hit down low in fact cpi claims to be an all around pipe not a drag pipe
Infamous039
I have spoken with Andy at M&M as well and e recommends Shearers were the best for the setup. I think the Pro circuits might hold you back some and R2's are UGLY and just a poor design a buddy of mine had them on his Banshee and the fitment sucked. I think CPI would work great also, but Shearers woudl definitley be the route I would go, just my 2cents.
SuperMex
I cant see how the fitment sucked on the r2's... they are the best fitting pipes I have installed to date. They go on the cyls awesomely... no need to remove anything or pry them on. The mid tubes clear the stock airbox nicely and the stingers bolt up flawlessly as well... Yes the paint sucks on the r2's.... But ive also heard very shity things about the chrome on shearers.... Ive heard Shearers are a PITA to install and sure as hell dont work with a airbox.... (now im not knocking their performance or their design) they are still the king of pipes in most applications for the right consumer. a shearer pipe will not have the down low power that the cpi or r2 offers.... the cpi and r2 will offer that better down low power that some people want... I couldn't have said it better myself.
sprinklerman
.....How "down low" are you guys trying to get a banshee engine to respond? I know my 421 Serval with Shearers comes on so quick and early that i cant imagine any sooner. I know it starts really pulling real hard about 4000rpm then its straight up till 9500. guns4children
I wish someone would do a dyno test on the r2s. I can say they are noticeably better then my fmfs buy that's it. I can't wait to get this motor running so Mr and Mike can play pipe switcharoo. Shearer vs R2 on a 4 and a 10 mil serval.

252wheelieking
have you proved this yet? you still haven't posted up the dyno charts of the shearers vs R2 on your serval yet. I was thinking the same thing. I have been waiting the longest for this pipe compairson. What's the hold up & why it keeps getting delayed? I have spoken with Andy at M&M as well and e recommends Shearers were the best for the setup. I think the Pro circuits might hold you back some and R2's are UGLY and just a poor design a buddy of mine had them on his Banshee and the fitment sucked. I personally think that the Original Rockets look better. Too me it looks like the Snipers are a similar design as the Original Rockets. But on another note, I buy pipes for performance instead of looks. Just my 2cents
