I agree, stocks will scream it just takes a lot of patience, if not how was it done 15 years ago?

keep the holy jeans.. makes for easier access... lol. But I think we need to get some bikini pics if we are basing the race of your wifes... lol.. just sayin.. I do find it funny how alot of people think stock cylinder's don't make much power. In all reality you can get a stock cylinder bike to scream but it takes hours at the porting table which is why most turn to aftermarket cylinders like the cub, more bang for the buck. If both bike were in idenical set ups with same rider I think porting/motor set up would have alot to do with it. JMO..

This is true. I love the oem cylinder heartbreak bikes. I think people are very quick to write them off and a lot of them in the right hands make amazing power. And I was looking at the pv cheetahs and it takes a lot of tinkering to get them setup right as does everything I guess. But I will look forward to this race next year for sure!

cc vs cc CP cylinders will make better power with both setups tuned.

15yrs ago they were happy with 80+hp.. when they wanted more they started welding up the cylinders.. once the after market cylinders hit the market.. they were getting more power then a worked over stocker with less effort which is why its no longer done. The cub was pretty much the final demise for working over OEM cylinders since it used all the OEM components.
