Figaro yes and yes. You will need a coolhead and custom domes. And a larger radiator would be recommended imo. These cylinders get quite hot hey. I'm also planning a similar setup. 35mm pwks and either cpi or sniper pipes.

Need input on gearing. I was thinking 15/42 - I have 22" inch dirt tyres. Anybody??

guys I'm starting my build this month probably next week i will buy the suspension and tires etc... so i was wondering what will i be best off with Serval dune ported and 35pwk on Sheerers or CPIs? also should i use Hanson full clutch parts or lock up ? will i need a cool head for the bike and a larger radiator ?

I personally love the cpi's but have no experience with shearers.

The stock clutch has components have worked for me with no issued although I do have a lockup. I added it after my second ride. From personal experience it depends on what you are doing if you need a lockup on a serval. If you are doing just general dune riding I would say some good clutch plates and hd springs would be just fine. Up at Silver Lake we drag race quite a bit on wet sand. Once the clutch started to get hot it would not hold while drag racing. I got an under cover lockup and love it.

I think that a cool head is pretty much a necessity.

I run the stock radiator and never have had any cooling issues. I have a in line temp gauge coming out of the head and the highest temp I have seen was 180 f.

I am running a 15/41 with 22" paddles but I think that I like the stock 14/41 with the 22's better. 15/42 would probably work pretty good on dirt. I just have a hard time wrapping out 6th on the sand with the 15/41.

I don't have any problems pitching my bike sideways or doing donuts etc. No porting on the Serval just cleaned up the casting flaws. Clutch pull seems the same to me but I hear that the MSR east pull clutch lever does wonders, also you can always run softer springs and use a lockup. I'm running no lockup so I have to use stiff springs on my clutch.

what was the size of your rims and tires and where can i get them ? do you have the .125 dugles or the .190 ? which one should i get for sand riding ?

where did you do the clean up on the casting flows and how much ?

also where can i get the MSR east pull clutch lever? are they the same as the hydrological clutch ?

what is the difference between the lockup and the Hanson and which one works best for our Servels ? I mostly ride the dunes and some time drag

and what is your thoughts on ceramic coating the piston heads and domes ?

also should i get a +4 or 6 swing arm and what make is yours ?

how do you like your suspension ? should i get the fox evo front and rear elka with linkage
