ban99shee
I have a 421 serval cub. I want to race it on ice/tt this winter. Who would you suggest to port the cylinders? I'm looking for good midrange and high end. Are the gains worth it? thanks!

Wildcard Racing porting is top notch, I can vouch for them first hand
SandmanPNW
This guy might know what he is doing. not a 421, but that dyno should speak for itself. http://bansheehq.com...howtopic=148104
jbooker82
I would just clean the castings up my self. Ice and TT racing isnt about making the most HP. It is about having a smooth power delivery so you dont blow the tires off. It is traction that is the problem, not a lack of HP, especially if you already have a several. If your wanting a true TT engine I would have probably went with a 4mill Passion 12 port TT engine. Probably not as much top end HP as a several but it would have the best power delivery. I do plan on running many different tire/suspension set-ups and know traction is where it's at..but I have a lot to learn. It will also be ran on some larger dirt ovals in the summer and i only weight 150lbs. I think the cub will do decent on those tracks. They are known for their short track TT engine builds. Maybe he knows somthing he can do to get the power were you need it to be.
