UberBricky
I am going to take the carbs out and rebuild them, just wondering what else I should do while the carbs are out? I am thinking reeds and an ignition system, and if not installed already, a timing plate. (not sure as I haven't had the cover off yet) It already has been ported, .010 over, T5's, cool head 20cc domes, single K&N airfilter.... Thanks! Trick2stroke
I wouldn't get pods if you ride trails or any kind of terrain where you run into standing water or mud. What kind of riding do you primarily do? Do you have any suspension mods?
TwistedSheeRida
you really don't get hardly anything to spit up on the pods. All i ride is trails, as long as you have some outerwears on no problems. Most people wouldn't run an over ride tranny in the trails or oof cpis but i do and haven't had a problem yet. UberBricky
I just trail ride and some sand dunes, nothing too wet but the K&N I have is like new with new outer wear, so would there be gains from adding pods?

Trick2stroke
Everyones definition of trails is different I suppose. oof pipes and pods would end your day quick on most of our rides.
choptech
I wont run my pod filters anywhere but the dunes... any water gets on them and the carbs stick, k&n filters SUCK in the dezert (even with outerwears), and the damn things get dirty way too fast. I finally went back to the stock airbox and UNI filter and could not be happier. I will still use my pods if going to the dunes for a weekend. TwistedSheeRida
I wouldn't go to pods unless you upgrade your carbs. lid off with a k&N is fine for the stockers.
