SlowMoe
Has anyone had any experience with both of these setups on a ported engine? Pros and cons of each one. The engine was dune ported by HJR and I am running fattys. I believe the 2:1 has a 34mmPJ on it or mayne a 35mmPWK. Thanks.
apeik
The 2 into 1 setup with his dune port will have insane mid pull, but the double carb setup will always beat it in a drag race. The ridability on the single carb is fun though. It all depends what you want from it.
lowbuckracing
Call Kevin,he can tell you the best setup for his port job..I'm pretty sure the dual carbs on a ported motor will rip the 2 into 1 setup apart when it is done right. Trick2stroke
If peak performance is your goal the 2-1 doesn't seem to be the way to go. They're more for ease of tuning, ride-ability, and easier throttle pull.
chayote86
I got a great graydon proline intake 35mm pwk with the cable and accessories for sale if your interested. Going with a serval cylinders and I'm going to need more than a 35mm. I don't know why everyone bashes on the 2into1 set up I think they work real well if tuned properly! I ran it with ported cylinders and had no problem keeping up or smashing on any banshee with similar mods and 2 carbs!

Yeah I talked to Kevin and he said the dual carbs will work much better on that engine.
TIM LUTZ
I did a staggered port job on my jugs. +2mm exhaust wuth a mirror polish, +1.5mm main x, 1mm 2nd x, and .5mm boost. raised and lowered the intane and left an 8mm bridge. The bike rips with DMC 916 and OKO 30mm powerjets. I would say at least 70 hp.
