peezybanshee06
hi, i have an 06 banshee with fmf sst pipes and silencers. uni airfilter, tors removal kit... i am mechanically inclined and have done some 4 stroke jetting but this shee is givin me a hard time. i bought the bike a few weeks back and it needed new floats, needles and seats which i did. the fmf pipes recommended to start with 260 mains but that seems too rich. ( i am approx. 436- 450 ft. above sea level btw). needle clip on stock position with stock 25 pilot. i had 30 pilots but dont kno if they made a difference. it would have good top end but doggy down low and i cant get it to have a good hot idle... any help would be appreciated thanks. also i mix 32:1 with klotz. I would venture to say, that 260 is too lean. I would go 280-190's, 25 or even 27.5 pilot, and needle on the middle clip. Also make sure your carbs are sync'd and your idle screws are both in. Sometimes those brass idle screws can back out if the lock nut isn't tight.

So Cal Suspension
Two strokes always run better lean. Right before they blow up. I had a similar setup, only with pods and a cool head. I ran 320's, 27.5's, and needle on the middle clip at 700ft above sea level.
