volvo63'
My buddies have all had banshees over the years, but none of them were modded. I just currently picked up a banshee with a very strait frame, but a blown motor. I thought I was just going to bore the motor and rehone it, but I found alot more problems. The previous owner threw a rod, cracked the crankcase, and destroyed the right cylinder. So now I have got a new set of cases and I am thinking about getting a new cylinder kit for it. I mainly ride trails, and the trails that I ride have alot of open places like fields and long roads were you can really open it up. I also really want to be able to outrun all of my buddies. So my question is what kit to get. What will be the pros and cons of a 392 versus a 421? What brand do I need? lms1977
If you need a crank I would get atleast a 4mil or a 10mill and a serval topend if you do trails.!!! I have a 10mill serval and it runs awesome could not be happier. A 421 serval will be a great all around motor 80hp pump gas what more could you want. camatv
properly ported serval 4 mill would probably scare the hell out of you so i'd go with that if the bike you bought is all stock you better have some big bucks ready for a build. volvo63'
It's not all stock, but I've got about 5g's ready.
FASTOYS
Where you already need a crank, cyls, etc.. I would definetly look into the 421 Serval Cub. Stay away from Ebay kits and check with the site sponsors as we all have some good deals going on.
