So scuse me if my english isn't really good but so far this is the best forum for the banshee that i ever seen! Just run a compression test on my stock 2003 banshee and there's the result: left +or- 99 psi right +or-96 psi Here we have some really cold winter..should i do a top end rebuilt? or keep it like this for the winter? Je suis pas un expert, il y a des gens ici bien meilleur que moi mais je te dirais que 100 psi de compression sur les 2 cylindres m'indique que tu est dû pour un top end rebuilt très prochainement. En bas de 80 psi le banshee ne part même plus. Si ton Banshee pars avec moins de 3 coup de crank sans difficulté, je le tofferais pour l'hiver et referais le moteur cet été. Si ta de la difficulté à le partir ben là c'est le moment parfait pour rebuilder le top end. Moi j'ai un banshee 2001 avec 105 psi de compression mais qui part toujours du premier coup de crank alors je vais probablement le tougher cet hiver et le rebuilder l'été prochain. If you doing a top end (pulling of cylinders), you might as well send them out for porting.
