I wouldn't buy one of those. I'm sure someone around here has a stocker with a pro-flow adapter for sale cheap. 90 bucks, plus you still have to spend another $50+ for the filters. Not to mention the filters you have to use are tiny. In my opinion, they can't flow nearly as well as the pro-flow setup. You can expect a 6HP increase on a stock Banshee and up to 10HP on a modified machine. Yet another reason to not buy from them. Quote
Jgspahn Posted September 19, 2011 Author Report Posted September 19, 2011 Will I lose much HP going from K&N pod filters with no airbox to a setup with some sort of airbox? Whats better, one large filter, two K&N's???? Quote
VoOK Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I think you get more air from one big filter. Quote

gotta_goatsfast Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Fluid dynamics! When a fluid is forced from an orfice by means of pressure, it is directed in one path. However, when there is a vacuum or less pressure in which molecules move in to fill that void, they are drawn from any and all direction. This is why the front of the carb is shaped like a bell. Pod filters help the carb pull more air in because it is allowed to draw air in through a broader range of direction than what would be allowed by a length of tube. In short, yes you will lose some giddy-up. Quote
