So Cal Suspension
Can we take a poll of education levels in this thread? I bet it's pretty obvious who has had formal education, and who hasn't... I laugh everytime someone buys an ATV, then pisses and moans because "we don't have a legal place to ride! So I'm just going to ride on the street, fuck everyone else"  These are the same people who get pissed when the cops do something about them riding on the streets ILLEGALLY. Whether I agree with the legality of riding on public roads or not, the laws are the laws, like it or not. You are not tough because you ride on public roads. If you think the "cop callers" are the ones to blame, you are the the epitome (dictionary.com) of everything that is wrong with this world. Blaming someone else for your mistakes, is like blaming the pen for signing your name to a bad check. I'm sure several are guilty of both, in this thread. Before you all start up repeating all the same worthless shit you've already spouted. I think ATV's should be legal on public roads, everywhere with proper licensing, insurance, and safety equipment. The fact is, they aren't. Like it or not, they are not legal to be ridden on 90% of public roads in this country. Would you buy a plane and fly it around without a license? No, you wouldn't. Just because an ATV has wheels, doesn't make it anymore legal to ride that on a public street, than fly a plane in public airspace. I don't see what is so hard to grasp about that concept? If you don't have a legal place to ride, where people aren't going to call the cops, why did you buy an ATV? This thread reminds me of the douchebags "bansheeboyz" or whatever the hell they call themselves. Posting videos of their dumb fucking uneducated asses wheelieing all over urban areas on youtube. And you guys think the "cop callers" are the ones to blame... :rotflmao: Grow the fuck up, and either take your bike to a legal riding place, or get rid of it. If you expect any of us to believe that if we kindly came out of our homes, and asked one of you tough guys to "please quit riding on our street", you'd say "oh, sure, kind fellow, I will gladly stop riding on this street, and take my ATV to an approved, legal riding area". Bull-fucking-shit. We'd get the same shitty attitude that you are all spouting here. "Fuck nah yo, we be rydin wheaeva we wanna ryde, wetha youz likez it o' not! GTFO of hea befo' I pop a cap in y0 azz!" I love this thread. Everything I said was a joke. I agree with everyone breaking the law, and being a tough guy. Fuck the cops, fuck the laws. I say everyone protest the laws, and ride their ATV's on public roads. I bet if we all did it, they'd magically make it legal, and not restrict us even more. dcalsv02
Some people lack education and common sense in this world. I think common courtesy can go a long way. I had no problems asking my neighbors if they cared that i rode my quad in our development or in the field next to it. no issues. do you think cops want to waste their time going to a residence for a noise complaint in the middle of the day? Hell no, they have better, more important things to do. At night is a different issue. I dont like cops disturbing me, so if i had the cops called on me for that, i would stop giving them a reason to harrass me, aka dont ride in that area. Sometimes the cops are the only people who can get through to those who are lacking that education and common sense.

If thats aimed at me though im not sure it is coz you seem smart enough to be able to read... im 100% legal to ride on any road in the uk... i dont see whats so hard to grasp about that concept? And im not riding on the road because theres nowhere to ride off road i brought it as an on road bike to ride on road because we can legaly here. Well its not just a warning really my plate is now marked and ill be pulled every time i see police & many more complaints warented or not and they'll impound my bike . I couldnt care less about them pulling me and looking over the bike coz like iv said i dont know how many times i have just as much right to drive it just the same as my car but i feel its been given to me unfairly. Basicly if they dont remove the marker i'll be pushing for unfair harassment. Lets look at it like this... your on the dunes allowed to ride, riding sensibly and police come and tell you someone has complained warn you and mark your bike so that the next busy body to moan will have ur bike taken away you'd be pissed right? Then you come on a forum to see where you stand and people are saying your crying, whining, lol uneducated and to quit bitching if they take your bike/ close your dunes its your own fault you should find dunes/ride else where.... :jesterlaugh: Edited September 2, 2011 by Rotten-UK

jonpeter0420
I really don't care if anyone agrees or disagrees with me on this subject. I dont care if people only agree with you because your a site sponser. I dont care if your fiteen or fifty. I just don't care. When you have nothing better to say than correct people's grammar or state how your far more educated than the guy on the post before you or reiterate what has already been said numerous times on this thread. That my friend only makes you sound like the uneducated one. Who are you to dictate what anyone does with their property. Like I said before I rarely ever ride my bike on the road. If I want to break the law and ride on the road how does that make it your problem. I guess the same goes for if you want to call the cops on me for riding on the road. Who am I for calling you out on that. but that's not my point here. If the only thing you have to say is correct your spelling, than why don't you just keep your mouth shut. I know it's legal to ride where you do. Sucks that people just don't like ATV's period. In that situation, there's nothing you can do about it, other than talk to your neighbors about it. It was directed at the morons in the US who think that because they feel they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, they are in the right. Again, that sucks. You were riding on a road where you are legally allowed to. (maybe a little too fast in someone's opinion, but unless they have you on radar, it's all heresay) No complaints from me whatsoever. This just happened to be posted in the thread you started. :jesterlaugh: Unfortunately, that does happen all the time in our riding areas. I typically ride at Glamis. There are plenty of do-gooders there who spend their entire trip policing the washes (popular camp area) watching for people who rope-off or cone-off their campsite, report it to the rangers/sheriff, and then they will harass you every chance they get. The simple cure for that, is don't rope off, or cone off you camp site. The state of Arizona has very loose laws regarding making an ATV, golf cart, SXS or other non-traditional road vehicle road legal. If you obey the laws, you have no issues at all with them. I have absolutely no problem with people who are doing things legally, and get pissed for being harassed for no reason. You were in the right. My problem was the few people in this thread, who DIDN'T actually read all the details, and immediately jumped to the conclusion that no matter what the laws are, they have every right to do whatever they want, when they want, and fuck everyone else. I have just as much of a right to be comfortable in my own neighborhood, not hearing ATV's, R/C cars, R/C Airplanes, excessively loud motorcycles, excessively loud cars, etc. I am not one to call the cops. I have confronted my neighbor on more than one occasion about his rat rod that he feels is necessary to rev to the moon at midnight every night, to "warm it up". I've warned him that if he won't stop doing that, and burning out in the middle of the street, I will get the law involved. There is nothing wrong with the route I took whatsoever. Basically, no beef with you. From what I read, you were riding your bike on the street, perhaps a little too fast, neighbor didn't like it, figured they'd call the cops. Now you're screwed. Yeah, I'd be pissed too, but there really isn't anything you can do about it, other than fight to get the marker removed. You're doing everything the right way. Obvious rambling is obvious. Correct people's grammer? Correct people's spelling? Say that I am more educated than the guy on the post before me? Where did I say that in my previous post? :rotflmao: You are 100% correct that I have no right to dictate what you do with your property. 100% correct. Please re-read my previous thread and quote where I said you can't ride your bike legally. It becomes my problem when it affects me personally. It becomes my problem if my neighbor buys an airplane, and decides he's going to use our cul-de-sac as a runway, then posts on a public forum saying "fuck you, I'll do what I want, like it or not." umad? So Cal Suspension
sounds like the movement for marijuana legalization in this country LOL, leave it to MJ to bring up MJ in something totally unrelated... I love it. On another note, I think that's the way Canada is handling it. In the US we're doing it a little differently. We're trying to get it legalized by vote, but I think it might come to the rebellious route soon. Either way I'm okay with it!
