Mile9c1
Is there a list of aftermarket pipes that will fit w/o cutting the stock fenders? I'd prefer to not cut up my OEM fenders.
#1JUANstunna
Any pipe will fit besides the Rockets and Rocket 2's. Just cut the dumbo ears off!
06specialedition
CPI's wont fit without cutting either. I like to keep the somewhat "stockish" look too, honestly cutting to fit a pipe isn't that bad. Its not like your cutting a large amount of fender, just a little notch to fit the size of whatever pipe you choose. Snag some PC's....you wont be disappointed and wont have to cut. fastbanshee8
Shearer's, and CPI's require fender cutting also. PTs, Pro Circuits, FMFs, Toomeys, and similar pipes won't require fender cutting.
bigblockbanshee
Not sure how it does it or what the variables are of it but my T5s would've burned the left side in no time if I hadn't have trimmed them and I've also heard similar issues out of FMFs. I blended the curve and cut it straight down length-wise to make it look like the factory cut only about 1/2" more narrow to allow for clearance. It looks factory and leaves plenty of room for the expansion chamber as well. FWIW I prefer to leave the fenders on for more of a factory look. Banshee Chad
I had to trim for my cpis just a little, I just half mooned it to give quarter of an inch between pipe and fender. Looks good.
