I'm looking for a new lever w/perch and was looking at another forum and lots of people were hyping up this lever http://www.righteousstuntmetal.com/. Has anyone here tried it or know of other good ones? I seen Fast has one and been checking out MSR Pro Raptor, the MSR seems to have mixed reviews from what I read. It works well but people were saying it breaks pretty easy. I know ASV makes quality stuff but I didn't see any ez pull levers and thats what im looking for since I have HD springs and no lockout atm. Any input to help me decide would be appreciated.

They are all EZ pull levers. No MFG makes a standard or hard pull. They make them as eazy as they can and actuate the clutch just enough to get it to disengage.

 

 

Also the length of the clutch lever determines how hard it pulls. Longer lever easer pull. So that stubby lever you posted isnt going to be that great. It is called a stunt lever because it is so short that the end of the bars will hit the pavement before the lever will, so it wont break when your "Stunt goes terribly wrong".

The MSR lever has 3 holes where you can adjust how easy it is to pull. Basically, the hole closest to the perch is the easiest pull and then gets harder from there.

 

Length of lever actually has nothing to do with how easy the clutch is to pull, the placement of where the cable is hooked up does.

 

That said, I can pull my clutch in with 1 finger. I use 6 heavy springs and have a lockup.

Thx for the pics of the MSR Raptor, I was about to buy one then I started reading other reviews on how some people had issues with them. Most likely because when people are happy with a product they don't spend the time to comment but when your pissed cause it breaks and such they vent. I think I'll end up getting the MSR but still happy to read more opinions of others if you want to comment on the thread.

 

I realize that the one I linked as well is a stubby as someone else had mentioned, but they do offer a non stubby for other applications besides stunt bikes. As I said in my post on another forum it seemed like others really liked it but was hoping someone here might have tried it on a banshee with HD springs.

 

My cable and everything are good. The stock pull isn't unbearable by any means I just would like to do some comfort mods.

i have the same thing, and i hate it. harder than stock to pull.

You had other issues then or you didn't install it right.

I'm not sure how it would get a bad review unless the person setting it up was an idiot. It's fairly straight forward. I've had mine for 2 years now with no issues. I have the short lever one.

i have asv f3 levers with 6hd springs and an old cable, it pulls with two fingers no problem all day. plus if you do roll your shee they bend backwards(spring loaded) so they don't break (did that a few times) plus three colors to choose from to match your shee as well.

the is what i am thinking, like i cant get it into the bottom slot.

 

but the guy that gave it to me also said he didn't like it.

 

guess i will have to check it out sometime

You basically have to take it apart to get it in the bottom slot. I had to take the lever off the perch to do it.

that guy was me.. lol I never used it personally.. my buddy gave it to me.. I have a asv and didn't need it.

 

I'd take it apart nick and check the bearing.. maybe it froze?

Any issues with not pulling the clutch arm far enough to disengauge on the closest setting loco?
