He modded or cut how ever he will say it my transmission. Stock trans non over ride . Regular functioning trans . This thing is amazing being it shifts absolutely smoothe with no binding WOT any gear actualy feels like a honda clicking into each gear no more guessing. No need to back spool this trans can jamp it down a gear and sail front end up to carry your self threw the whoops. First time I have ever been able to put the banshee in neutral when coming to a stop everytime. The trans is simply amazing I have sold several banshees for the simple reason of hating the way they shifted n not being able to get the gear I needed when I needed. If there was a name for this I'd call it mx override. Hands down best dude I ever dealt with for any kind of work . If u looking for a serious trans to shift that duner 90hp 4mil hit this guy up. camatv Posted August 20, 2011 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 its not an override. i dont call it an override it dosent even some what work like an override. the gear cuts ARE used on better overrides. this modification has been around for a long time. as i said its the true "fix" the the bad shifting trans. no other bs is needed. its simple you cut every other dog off the gears with 6 dogs. the engaement gears have 3 dogs on them. the extra dogs clash and will send the trans into a false neutral. also after heating up some the trans slop is more evedent and with the extra gears they can get a lil misaligned adn are more prone to stick on the shaft.. if you are a serious rider and i mean you do more then put the kids around in the yard this is a must do modification if the cases are apart. sheerider1026 Posted August 25, 2011 Report Share Posted August 25, 2011 i cut my tranny this way also.. my opinion is that they should have came stock this way... i also have a cut star, modded shift shaft, bearing on the drum, and a shift pro arm with slightly softer spring than stock ( its not the shift pro spring). absolutely the best shifting quad/bike i have ever owned.. here are a few pics of mine after i cut it..
