03banshee20
what jets should i be running? i have fmf ssts v force reeds cool head 20 cc domes 150 psi comp 400 elevation +4 timing. running 290 mains and 30 pilots seems rich but when i go down to a 280 it is lean. spark plug is black. And it spits oil out the silencers and where the pipe meets the cylinder. dont tell me its my exhaust seals there brand new so are the silencers. and when i get on it and go through the gears it looses fuel and cuts out. idk what to do. camatv
put in 300's and then try 310's check your gap, check your ignition try NEW plugs. not the same old ones your bike fouled out 15 mins ago.. if it has an outerware TAKE it off and see if it improves.. Boone
Pretty much the same motor as me (minus porting).... I run 290's (perfect) and 30's (perfect) at 300'-800'... You have to be close. Mine blows oil too at the head pipe too... It happens... It's just the nature of the beast (2 strokes) Edited September 22, 2011 by Boone
