BansheeBoy96 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 Changed the main jet to a 45 the Shee idles now pretty good May be just a lil rich but not much.....bit now my problem is i got the main jet right the pilot right now when i pinn the throttle n first and second gear she has a slight bog at first and Shee never had that bog before.....so now Im thinking the needle needs to be adjusted or changed what u guys think.....just got done rebuilding and adding ported n polished cylinders n hot rod stock stroke crank and removing the air box running uni pod filter on two into one carb...... sleeper06 Posted August 7, 2011 Report Share Posted August 7, 2011 If it idles ok leave it put a 195 main jet in it,needle plays a huge roll on a single carb set up,if i remember correctly i used an eek 4th clip i would try adjusting your needle go rich first if it takes the fuel leave it rich ,do a plug chop with the main i stated an adjust from there,a ported bike i built ran a 200 main with pro circuits in winter with that carb set up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
