252wheelieking
Send your cylinders in to a site sponsor & have them trail port it for you. You will definitely kill them on the trails. It will help your bottomend out alot & you won't regret it once you feel the accelleration. O & by the way a banshee & 700 raptor bone stock for stock with both good riders the banshee will lose in a drag race & trail riding. Now with some porting, pipes, compression, timing & jetting it a different story. 700 raptor or any other ATV wouldn't stand a chance unless they had mods done to them also. bigblockbanshee
Just think of how much money you've got in your 'shee and how good it sounds/runs versus how much they have in theirs and that should perk you up a bit. Personally I'd just get out and ride the thing. I don't care how strong, powerful, or smooth the Banshee is when you take the new technology and geometry of the XX and Renegade and beat a 'shee that was designed in the late '80s what is there to brag about especially when upkeep/repair on 4-pokes is so much more expensive than a Banshee is. Then of course you've got the "cool factor" and there is and will never be another quad that beats the Banshee in that department. Ride YOUR ride and don't worry about others. Worrying about what others think or say is the quickest and most effective way to take the fun out of a hobby. guns4children
My banshee is just about equal with my buddy's piped, tuner 700 up until 5th gear. As far as drags its all about who hooks first.
Jgspahn
Well this weekend it all went down, well not with the Renegade, but with the 700xx. Annnnd survey says... both bikes are pretty damn quick. The 700 didnt have good tires, and I was on brand new Razrs.. for the record. I kept up just fine, and started to win the more comfortable I got, and no matter what, I could ALWAYS pick him up on the other end. I had a blast either way tho, taking off on 2 wheels side by side, shifting thru second, then setting it down in 3rd and flying through the gears, and its neck and neck the whole time... cant beat that kinda fun. Ill have some pics and vids to post tomorrow. Final thoughts, it comes down to balls, getting the jump, hitting the gears right, and keeping it straight, and its different every race.. what a blast.. getting this banshee was a GREAT decision.
