dirtydownunder
just pinch the clip with the gap infront, make sure the clip gap is away from the recess on the piston (where you get it out from) push the clip in on and angle in the hole, and push it in then push the bottom of the clip into the groove. locogato11283
It's very easy to do with some needle nose pliers. Make sure you cover the crank case just in case you drop the clip.
jbooker82
A pick set really helps out. Just start the one end and lip it around.

Koolguyson
nice man,, i could find a million uses for those I want a list of at least 100 things right now. Ready? Go! On a cereal note, they are simple to install. Wedge the center of the clip into the piston groove. Squeeze the gap end with your fingers. Press the clip "ends" in as far as you can. Then with a small pocket flat blade, just finish installing the clip. Make sure you hear it SNAP. An improperly seated clip will absolutely destroy your motor. And always cover the crankcase with a rag so you don't drop the clip inside the motor.
