Glenyboy Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 Seen some uni filter 2 stage pods on eBay, has any body used them? Are they any good, price is almost half of what k&n's, just after any feedback. Thanks Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 26, 2011 Author Report Posted July 26, 2011 (edited) Anyone? Or even if uni filters are any good? Aren't they the filters toomey use? Edited July 26, 2011 by Glenyboy Quote
jonpeter0420 Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 I tried them out. The boot ripped on one of them so I cleaned my old k&n and put them back on Quote

BrockMoto Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 I use em... no issues here.... I have outerwears too tho working fine with fatties and pt mids Quote
dirtydownunder Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 i run them with no probs, i use the dual stage too, Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 The dual stage ones were the type i see for sale.! Are they smaller than the k&n's? Do they clear the frame and pipes ok? Quote
dirtydownunder Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 i got mine from uni filter australia, i dont know if they are different. i have the 30 degree ones and they clear everything but with the 2nd stage on, they just touch at the end . but i have my pipes insulated so there is no problem. with the 2nd stage, id say they are fatter than the k&n. Glenyboy Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 Thanks, these are listed as being 15 degrees and are 4" long. Sorry I can't post a link as I'm on my phone, they're on eBay listed under yamaha banshee pods. Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 Just been onto uni's site and they are 3 1/2 o.d. But they only have straight or 15 degrees on there? Quote
Coupelx Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 I run them and really like them. they can be had for CHEAP off bikebandit.com. I got the stright ones for mine. Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 Thanks, what length are you filters you guys? Just that as their universal they come in various lengths from 3-6 inches Quote
Coupelx Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 i have the 6inch ones. i figured the bigger the better. i think the angled ones would be better for those with exhaust clearance problems or when running after market intakes. i dont have either problems so i got the straight ones. Quote
