bansheeyfz450
I have 2000 Banshee I picked up about a month ago. This is what it has, Toomey T-5's, V-Force 3's, K&N in box no lid, cylinders are ported. The main is 330. This setup is for sea elevation. I ride @ 6000-9000 FT. I am taking off the stock box and going to run twin K&N's. It has a cool head but not sure what domes it has. The guy I bought it from said he was running 100 octane. So I am running the same 100 octane and mixing 40:1. I was thinking dropping my main jet down to 310???? What do you think?
Phelps
way lower than that.... i would say in the 260-270 range for starters at 6k-9k elevation. that's a huge diffrence. you may end up going leaner than that.
06specialedition
Stock carbs I assume? I run at about 5000FT.....aggressive dune port, CPI's, vforce, no air box W/pods...etc. I run 310 mains to give you an idea. X2 with Phelps, at that elevation you will be smaller mains than me. bansheeyfz450
I see on Toomey's webpage they say to run 250's, but with ported cylinders.. 300? I dont want to blow it up? "06specialedition" 310 on your mains? Is that dyno tuned?

"06specialedition" 310 on your mains? Is that dyno tuned? No that is not dyno tuned. But when Brandon at Wildcard Racing build my motor, he told me I would end up at about 300-310's......and with 310's it runs like a champ!
