lms1977
I put in 19 cc domes and changed my porting ex is 188 now. kicking is 165psi 54 stroke 66 bore soulod be about 14.2 cr what do you think I need for octane? I was running +7 deg timing before and was going to leave it there and try it. can I run avgas straight or mix with pump or just get the race fuel and mix it? I feel I'm slightly over the limit for pump but don't want to just waste money on fuel.
badassbanshee479
i would run at least 50/50 race fuel pump fuel..... never been a fan of the av gas...

Avgas is meant for engines that are relatively low RPM, not a high revving 2 stroke. You can try mixing it 50/50, on my setup, I can run 40% race and 60% 93 octane pump, try that and see if it knocks. If it does go to 50/50.
