banshee332
Well I had the chance to test out some inframe sniper this weekend. Just bolted on from switching over from sb cpi offs they ran the same time and mph. We started to lean her down and ended up with almost 94mph from 90.5mph. it has a bog on the bottom that I will have to work out next race but with the bog it still managed to pull more mph then the cpi's could. Zach the owner said he never felt the bike accelerate like it does with the snipers and he tired shearers two races before this one. So all 3 sets of sniper that I have tested to far has out performed every pipe that I have tired. You just cant through them on your bike and expect them to work you have to tune to them. okbeast
Have any builders tried using these to see what they can get out of them?
SuprSlow50
Weird, I was just thinking about how I haven't heard/read anything about the new Sniper pipes in awhile, and as soon as I look at the review section, I see this. Good to hear the bike picked up with the Sniper pipes...I have been thinking about getting a set for my cub, but wanted some personal reviews first. Good to hear the bike picked up with the Sniper pipes...I have been thinking about getting a set for my cub, but wanted some personal reviews first. I have tested 3 sets so far. One on my 10mill cub oof's, one on a 4mill cub oof's and one on the hjr 421 inframes. All have seen results in the positive. The hjr motor is a bugger its just not real responsive to anything we try with it besides the snipers. We are going the right way with it though I should have better results with the hjr 421 cub next race.
camatv
these pipes are being sold through a builder.. in my opinion you dont see much about them cause they just cost too much. i'd love to try a set out but i cannot get them used or cheap enough yet.. i dont really feel like droping 800 bucks just to let you guys know how they work for free.. banshee332
Ok im giving a full report on the snipers. 3 races ago before they tired the snipers they could never get the hjr 421 to run right. So they took it to a local shop and got the porting touched up. Best it would do was 6.4 @91 with cpi's pretty close to being tuned in. It was pretty consistent at 6.5's Now this is a 500ft track. The race after that is the first time we ever tired the sniper inframes. the first pass was a high 6.4@91 with out changing anything. So I got jetting on top right and the bottom was off and we ran out of pass's to correct the problem The best for that night was a low 6.4@92mph. This race 7/23/11 I fixed the bottom end jetting the track was not as good as it was the race before and the temperature was about 10 degrees hotter and the humidity was higher this race. First pass right off the trailer was a high 6.3@93, second pass was a 6.302@94.62 mph after that the track just was not as good as it was the first round. He mostly ran 6.3's @ 92-93mph. I would say on a cooler day with better track conditions he should see 6.2 mybe 6.1's. So on average his e.ts dropped 2 tenths and picked up around 2mph with the snipers over the cpi's. He has not really placed to much this year but tonight he got to 2end places.

He has not really placed to much this year but tonight he got to 2end places. I'm going to have to step in on this one. This bike never had the porting touched up and it never ran consistent. I ported and built this motor and shipped it to him. It never ran faster than the first few races it did when he received it from me. The bike or rider just couldn’t get it to run consistent. He tried many things including using you to try and put him up front. He continues to struggle with trying to get the bike to run consistently. It’s not the pipes, porting or the setup of the motor that’s going to help as I think you found that out. The bike is fast and can run low numbers and high ET's but not consistently.
