jonpeter0420 Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I just bought a wiseco clutch kit as well as hotrods crank stock length. Still havnt got my bike back together yet but I will let everyone know how the clutch turns out. I havnt heard any horror stories about them or anything good for that matter so I'm curious to see how it works for me. Quote

camatv Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 the screws that hold the backing plate on are the absolute worst designed bs i have ever seen in my life. they are flimsy lil itty bits grade 5 allen screws and the heads are recessed so far intot he plate if you make anypower it pops them right off. its an easy fix with a lil kit from matton they sell ( as per my suggestion) a cromoly backing plate, stiffer cusions, and the m8 allen screws for it. you just tap and thread your basket and install. probelm solved. I did what you said and tapped out the screw holes in the back plate and put bigger screws. I've rode it for about 10 hours with no problem. I'm only pushing around 50 HP so I don't think I'll have a problem. Thanks for the advise Quote
