blubyyou
I am trying to get my pwk 35 a/s carbs dialed in. I have a good plug chop with the mains but its lazy getting into the power band in 4-6 gears. 1-3 it hits hard but I still feel like its a little lazy. I can get it to hit the power band if I clutch it a little in 4-6 gears. My plugs are a dark brown and oily if I ride it for like 30 minutes. I run 927 @ 40:1 on 93 pump gas. My question is do I need to step down on mains again or lean out the needle with the clip? I want it to be crisp and get it to where the plugs aren't oily. I know I'm rich but according to the plug chop the main is good to go...I assume its the needle or could it be a combination of both. I have pics of plugs if u need to see them. Thanks

blubyyou
148 mains, 48 pilot, CEL needle in middle position @ 2400 feet. I just raised the clip up a notch and the plugs do look drier just playing around in the yard. I haven't got to get a good 1-6 pull and another chop. Just wondering what direction to head in. Thanks.
