Heys guys I need alittle help, So I am Rebuilding my 10Mil, it is not a dune bike, but once in a blue moon I will ride my bike From wash 10 thru the dunes to olds. My question is what would be a better shock the Marvin Shaw Comp or Hill Shooter? It says on there web site that the comp is duneable with minor adjustments, what are those Adjustments?

Ok, thank u for that Info, Now what size should I get I have 2+1 A arm, I know the stock shocks are 14 1/2 Inchs. Minus spring sage. So should I go 15. I can not measure because the bike is all apart.

The difference in a Comp and a Hillshooter is mostly just the oil and nitrogen capacity is less with a comp and it weighs slightly less. They are very similar but the comp won't handle whoops or bumps as well. If you ride hard or like whoops or dune ride other than drag race then I wouldn't get shaws at all.

shaws work ok but you need to get the right length and be able to play with the nitrogen for them..

i also prefer works on dunner/ drag bikes. the 1 or so lb i save with a marvin is not worth the beating i take from the shocks. rear also.. stock banshee set up right feels excellent. OR r-1 if you want it LOW>

if you want a light weight fun to ride shock the fox floats are bad ass. i'm not sure why more people dont think about them on a dune/ drag build..
