roesso
How hard is it to paint a frame with a spray gun? Never used one before, does anyone have any pointers or a first timer?
steady
I thought about painting mine, but going powdercoat shouldnt ever have to touch it up. I figure painting it would be pretty hard, unless you have a way to get all the old paint off.

vifferman
As with most things the prep is the hardest part. If you skimp on the prep the paint will chip and peel off quickly. I've had two frames powdercoated and wouldn't do it any other way! It's WAY worth the $. They look incredible and are much more durable than rattle can. DirtDiggler69
I'm painting my shee , flat black , painting takes a lot of time , just when you think youve got the frame covered , you see it from a different angle . Krylon fusion paint is what I'm using , it's great paint , has a epoxy based primer and adheres great . Excellent elastomer properties as well , stays very flexible . Bkm2006
I prepped my frame for 5 hrs and then primed painted . Took a step back and decided to just get it powdered. Best thing I have ever done.
