Starwriter
JP Racing became Lonestar. I don't know if it's the same equipment or management, but it's definitely the same designs and CNC programs. Back when JP Racing was in business, they made REALLY nice stuff. They unfortunately did a lot of really screwy business management deals. I didn't know they made axles, but if they put their name on it, I'm sure it's top notch quality. In the pic, it looks like there's no threads on it at the splines. If so, it uses a special nut and if he doesn't have the special nut, you're taking a gamble on it. You might try calling Lonestar and see what they have to say about it.

frinkbc
I know the guy selling the axle, small world id contact lonestar about the axle nut! I used to own that axle but went with a different one you can indeed see jp racing on it it is straight and beefy, if you can get an axle nut I'm sure you not only be happy with it but you won't beat the price and it will more than handle some launches in the air good luck! bansheesandrider
JP Racing was the original owner of the Axcaliber Axle name. But after they filed bankruptcy once and were on the verge of going under again, they got bought out by Lonestar. However, Lonestar will not warranty a JP axle, they will only warranty ones with a Lonestar(LS-xxx) serial number. I had a JP Racing swingarm on my bike but had alot of problems with it cracking, even after it was repaird by a certified structural welder. I would recomend getting a G-Force if you are on a budget or if you want to go top of the line go Lonestar.
