Joey80
Ok, I have a 1990 Yamaha Banshee. The bike was just recently put back together. I found out my coil was bad so I borrowed one from a friend. The bike ran so I took it out for a quick run. The bike ran great until 4th gear when it shut off on me. I am currently running 270 main jet at 4200 altitude. When I got the bike back to my house I had no spark at all. Can anyone help to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any help. Rotax Raptor
Unplug your stator and using an ohm meter test resistance between the white/red and the white/green wire. It should read around 117 ohms if good. I think that's the right number, I'll verify and repost. I've also seen the pickup coil gap to wide and cause this.
